Today we wrap up the Industrial Way series with not one, but two breweries in one post. The reason for this unprecedented occasion? A) Neither one is particular big, so the taproom description isn’t going to be much and B) after 2 other breweries, picture taking took a drastic turn downward. The A.D.D. of “I should probably take a….Oooo, a DDH IPA!” was real. You know how that goes!
So let’s not waste anymore time and jump right into part three of the Maine Memorial Day saga!

I was starting up the laptop, fully prepared for a Game 3 of disappointment. It was already 3 – 0. I figured the game would make for background noise as I prepare my post for Tuesday. Then Acciari got the tip in. Then Backes makes the goal off Bobby Ryan’s complete fail to wrangle the puck. Then Pastrnak scores on the powerplay and here I am, finally typing during the second intermission.
Before the third starts, let me tell you about Dorchester Brewing!

A national crisis was finally solved this weekend as Tom Brady’s Super Bowl jersey has been returned! While the video is incredible, just showing how ballsy the thief was, the more interesting thing was that it had before two years earlier and Tom didn’t seem to even care! It’s like Tom was the hot girl in high school and the jersey was me, the jersey being as equally sweaty and dirty. I’m glad he got them back though, since he said something good will come from it. Maybe he’ll auction it for charity, and if he does, The N.E. Brew Guide Foundation will gladly accept the funding.
And here we are, another trip to Rhody for your Wednesday guide.

Yay Monday! This week we move on up the map, out of Connecticut and into Rhode Island for a couple of great places for you to visit!
As a pleasant side effect of my recent quest to try all the brews, I’ve also been able to hit up a bunch of local eateries. This weekend was no exception. After dropping my family off at TF Green so they can go enjoy the fun and warmth of Florida without me (bastards), I traveled on over to PVDonuts to sample their 90’s inspired flavored donuts. We waited in line for about 40 minutes, by far the longest I’ve waited for breakfast food. I can say in all honesty they are absolutely worth the wait. I try parts of 6 different kinds: Cereal Milk, Rice Krispy Treat, Wildberry Pop Tart, Dunkaroos, Cosmic Brownie, and a special Irish Chocolate with Bailey’s. Every damn one was delicious, and if I know anything as well as beer, it’s donuts. So, get your ass over there.
With a full stomach ready to roll, lets dive into Grey Sail!
